\nHUD has officially posted in the Federal Register the extension of the implementation of NSPIRE and NSPIRE-V for the following programs:<\/strong>

\nCommunity Planning & Development (CPD) – Specifically, ESG, CoC, HOME and HTF <\/strong>NSPIRE implementation has been delayed until October 1, 2026.<\/strong>

\nHousing Choice Voucher (HCV), Project-Based Voucher (PBV) and Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Programs – <\/strong>

\n**Remember, if you will be appealing something, your “defect mitigation in 24 hours” is that you are appealing…not that you fixed it<\/u>!**
\n**If you need more time than 24 hours, block access to the hazard temporarily, if possible AND request approval from HUD for more time to your local HUD office AE AND NSPIREREGULATIONS@HUD.gov<\/a>
